i ♥ being with people who make me smile.

31st January 2010.
officially my last day of play.
and things just arent going on like i expected.

im missing singapore and everyone there.
i know im not suppose to post this on my blog cuz im just going to make people more depressed,
but i have to.
really.

i feel like im such a money sucking machine all of a sudden.
AUD$330 per week for homestay.
AUD$23000 for WAUFP school fees this 10months.
AUD$1000 for my school books and school uniform for this year.
it doesnt help that the uni course im aiming for is the most expensive course that murdoch has to offer,
and i have to do it for 6 years.
plus my monthly allowance and ballet fees.
shit.
i dont even feel like continuing ballet now.
somehow.
i mean,
i dont even want to pursue a career in dance so why i am wasting AUD$370 per term doing something for leisure (even though its considered cheap compared to singapore).
and it doesnt include my new shoes and leotards,etc.
makes no sense at all.
yeah.
i've made up my mind.
im probably going to come up with some lame excuse to stop ballet after this 2weeks of trial.
i shall start saving money from now on.
i still dont know if i made the right choice.


SINGAPORE!
i miss singapore,really.
i miss going out with rachel and our clique.
i miss seoul garden and food spams.
i miss chungcheng and all the familiar faces.
i miss mr lim and his pair of listening ears.
i miss mr lam and all his randomness,crappyness and advice.
i miss ms teo and her zi-highness.
i miss mrs low and her always-so-interesting biology lessons.
i miss wulaoshi and her fun chinese classes.
i miss all the teachers cuz although they gave us truckloads of homework,they were always there,waiting to lead a helping hand..
i miss my family cuz i never feel out-of-place when im with them.
i miss seeing my uncle at random places.
(how i wish you could pop up in front of me now)
i miss ballet classes with ms kee cuz it was nice,relaxing and convenient.
i miss singapore's transportation cuz you dont have to wait for a bus for an hour without knowing whether or not it stops at that busstop.
i miss you and all your smses,even though they always seemed so cold.
i miss everyone,
i really do.

i still dont know if i made the right choice.
afterall,
it isnt guranteed that i'll get into vetscience.
if i dont..
i probably wasted tonnes of money,
and i wasted all my tears for nothing.

i know that there's two sides to a coin.
but its easy to say,
difficult to put into practice.
i try to think of the positive side.
but everything runs dry sometimes.
and positive thoughts do,too.



i miss you all,
and i cant wait to get myself back to singapore in july / december!
but i'll have to suffer the loneliness and stress before that.
i know i can do it.

and i will.

i got up pretty early to day to pick mummy up from the airport!

now im not alone alr!
but only for 3 weeks T.T

today was quite nice cuz we went to visit isabella,clarabelle and their family,
and we went to dance venture.
awesome place!
cant wait for saturday! (:

i pretty much spent the whole afternoon slacking after that.
mummy brought iweekly here!
but this issue is so boring!! ):
ooh,
murdoch's chambray shirts are so difficult to iron okayyy.
i took 30mins - 45mins and the shirt still looks crumpled.
whatever.
i gave up.

tomorrow's going to be a fun filled day!
off to murdoch for orientation,
and then mummy's going to bring me (or viceversa) to harbourtown to get my school shoes.
coooooool.

i dont want mummy to leave now..
previously when i felt homesick,
i told myself that mummy will join me soon.
but now,
(SIGH)!

yesterday was Australia Day.
pretty cool,
cuz i didnt know..
and i went to watch fireworks.
super nice!
it was very long compared to singapore's fireworks..
roughly around half an hour?
super looooong!


and so i went to murdoch college today.
took public transport!!
i miss singapore's public transport cuz its so convenient and i know what buses to take.
but i guess i'll get used to it soon!
i got my uniform :
3 chambray short sleved shirts,
1 pair of trousers (made to be hipsters),
1 track shorts,
1 green polo tee (cuz im in GREEN house),
and a college bagpack.
i'll try to get pictures up soon!
and i selected my subjects today :
- english language and cultural studies 2
- 3A chemistry
- 3A human biology
- 3C maths
i really hope that i can cope with 3C math..
if not i'll have to buy books for 3A maths again..
waste money!!

today was simple,

it was my first time going back to chungcheng after i officially graduated.
(i.e. after i got my results.)
i dont know if it'll be the last though.

i had lunch with weiing,gladys,brenda and sally!!
it was really nice to be back in familiar dance company (:
after that,
brenda,sally and i headed to esplanade for 'men in tutus'!
it was really hilarious and comical.
and the guys had good techniques too! (:

we kinda camwhored after that :D

through it all,

next up was dinner at nihon mura,leisure park!
actually i didnt really eat cuz i didnt know what to eat,
and i didnt feel like eating ):
so i was just walking around and chatting with people.
we were about to go back when something sparked my tear glands and i started crying.
i was super emotional all of a sudden ):
and random people came into my mind.
raccoonnnnnn,mr lim,rachel,etcetcetc.
im really going to miss raccoon.
randomness has been a huge part of my life.
but no more people to go random with..
i dont know if i should laugh or cry.
back to reality.
flight's in less than 48 hours.
and my luggage isnt really packed yet.

i still have to msg everyone about my phone number,
pack my last minute stuffs,
and CRY.
im really glad that my grandmother's coming over tmr.

i was chatting with Mr Lam yesterday night..
it was like a casual chat.
and i realised how much we've (or maybe i've) changed over the years.
most probably because i've graduated.
but yeah,
it was so different.

4 years have passed since we first met in class.
different people from different primary schools looking into the same fate.
it was nice to see the same faces every year.
how people changed,
and best friends became enemies,etc.
and through that all,
we grew stronger,smarter,more matured.
we had a different viewpoint on things.
we laughed at the jokes we cracked.
we shed tears of joy and dispair..
we mugged until we were so sick of it,
but through it all,
we've gained good mentors,friends and people who cared for us.
and i really enjoyed your company.
all the teachers,classmates and friends.
i'll miss you guys,really.
